About Craig Lawrence RMT

Craig Lawrence has been a healthcare practitioner with Diversified Health since June 2014, and in that time has built a loyal clientele ranging from stay at home moms, weekend warriors, and amateur athletics.

Craig has been practicing massage therapy on Vancouver Island since 2006. Practicing for the past several years at Diversified Health and continuing with post-grad workshops, Craig continues to develop his skills providing treatments that fight both the compounding effects of stress on the body and specific mechanical issues.

The summer months bring a specific type of injury caused by being more active and spending more time outside.  These types of “sports injuries” or “recreational injuries” can be caused by gardening, golfing, cycling, hiking, or swimming.  As a result, Craig see an increase in recreational injuries such as ankle sprains, lower back pain, elbow pain and treatments for muscle soreness.

The good weather also means a lot more travel and that brings a rise in whiplash and other injuries associated with car accidents, as well as neck and back stiffness due to travel when you must deal with uncomfortable hotel beds and pillows.

Throughout the year the majority of Craig’s clientele see him for help with the daily aches and pains that come from their work environment; issues like stress, carpal tunnel syndrome, low back pain and neck pain.

Maximizing the incredible healing potential in everybody is what Craig strives to achieve with all his treatments; and is the spirit that Craig brings into every massage session.

When not satisfying his curiosity for the latest advancements in medical research and technology, Craig is always searching for new reasons to laugh. (Laughter is the cheapest and most available treatment option on earth).

Craig’s clinic schedule is Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.  Craig is currently taking new patients, although there can be a 1 week delay….. but well worth the wait.
