About Emma Barker, BA, R.Ac

Emma is a Registered Acupuncturist who aims to get patients out of their heads and into their bodies. She completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours from Queen’s University in 2007 and her Diploma of Acupuncture, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from Pacific Rim College in 2014.

Her treatments are rooted in intuitive touch and incorporate acupressure, Tui Na massage and cupping along with gentle needling. She has additional training in Maternity Acupuncture, Balance Method for Pain, Advanced Tui Na, Kruger Omni Healing and Kiiko Matsumoto Japanese Acupuncture/Hara Diagnosis.

When she is not at Diversified, you can find Emma instructing in the student clinic at Pacific Rim College and offering community acupuncture at the Victoria Native Friendship Centre.
