Diversified Health Clinic (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We follow British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the privacy standards of the regulatory colleges our practitioners belong to.

What this policy covers

This policy covers diversifiedhealth.ca. Your health records and treatment information are handled under our clinical privacy practices, which your practitioner can explain at your first visit. Online booking happens on Jane (diversifiedhealth.janeapp.com), which has its own privacy policy.

Information we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number and the subject and message you send us.
  • Emails and phone calls: whatever you choose to share when you contact us directly.
  • Website usage: pages visited, the site that referred you, general location (city level), device and browser type, collected through cookies and similar tools (see below).

Please don’t send detailed health information through the contact form. Call us or discuss it at your appointment instead.

How we use it

  • To reply to your questions and help you book care.
  • To understand how people use the site so we can improve it.
  • To measure how well our advertising works.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies from Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook) to measure site traffic and the performance of our ads. These tools may collect information about your visit, such as pages viewed and actions taken. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. Declining cookies will not stop you using the site.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the site and clinic (for example website hosting, email, analytics and booking), and only as needed for that purpose, or when required by law. Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form messages and emails only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable business records, then delete them.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and restricted access to our systems, to protect your information.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to its use, subject to legal limits. Contact our Privacy Officer and we will respond within 30 days.
